Licensure Exam for Teacher LET October 2009 for Palawan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that 1,184 elementary teachers out of 2,656 examinees (44.58%) and 13 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 33 examinees (39.39%) passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on October 4, 2009 in 3 testing centers (Palawan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi), per Board Resolution No.01 Series of 2010. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Members.

The results of examination with respect to seven (7) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 4) 2 pieces 2” x 2” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 5) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 6) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Licensure Exam for Teacher LET October 2009

The Teacher Board Examination, will be given by the Board of Professional Teachers on (September 27) October 4, 2009, nationwide - Manila, all regional offices, Angeles, Bacolod, Batanes, Tawi-Tawi, Butuan, Cotabato, General Santos, Sulu, Ozamis, Pagadian and Puerto Princesa. The last day in filing of applications, for October 2009 licensure exam for teachers, was held on June 30, 2009.

Due to bagyong Ondoy, Sept 2009 LET will now be held on October 4, 2009 in the same school and same building assignments. The PRC also added that, "Those who could not take the exams on Sunday may take it on April 2010 without paying the examination fee provided that they have to fill up and submit their applications together with the Notice of Admission in the September 2009 examination"
